Learning Objectives

The 1.5-hour training will engage 20 participants to strengthen capacity to understand the economic impacts of social protection through the ESCAP SPOT Simulator. By the end of the training, participants will be expected to:

• Understand how to navigate default and advanced dashboard on SPOT Simulator
• Understand key parameters in design of non-contributory programmes
• Be able to identify economic impact of non-contributory programmes using SPOT Simulator

Format

Through a series of presentation and interactive questions, the training will access the online Simulator to guide users in understanding and using the SPOT Simulator.

Participants

The training will be available for 20 participants from the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection and other relevant stakeholders. Participants are requested to bring laptops if they have one available to access the online simulator during the workshop.
