The closing national capacity building workshop continued from the previous workshop, which was designed based on the needs of the country and aligned with the project’s objective to build skills in analyzing data to assess inequalities in the registration of births and deaths.

The topics for discussion in the closing workshop were:

• Preliminary report on the inequality assessment of birth and death registration in the Philippines
• Feedback from participants in the 1st and 2nd Capacity Building Workshops
• What challenges remain in CRVS? and updates on activities of PSA to improve registration.
