This publication documents 80 projects integrating population concerns into national and community development programmes in five ASEAN countries. It was compiled to support policymakers, planners and programme administrators working in family planning, health, education, employment, agriculture, rural development and women’s advancement. Each entry supplies information such as the project title, funding source, duration, objectives, participating institutions, integration areas, available documentation, training components and geographic coverage. The volume was also prepared as documentation support for the Third Asian and Pacific Population Conference in Colombo in September 1982. Its broader objective is to facilitate the exchange of national experience and provide practical models for incorporating population considerations into development planning elsewhere in the ESCAP region
