Held independently of the official program, side events enrich the discourse surrounding the 12th APFSD theme, the SDGs under review, and VNRs. Side events are held from 25-28 February 2025. Each event has a maximum duration of 75 minutes and is independently organized by the partner organizations.

The room allocation in UNCC
Registration:
To attend the side events in-person, all organizers and participants must register on Indico as soon as possible: https://indico.un.org/event/1014374/. Kindly note that access to side events does not guarantee access to APFSD plenary sessions.
When registering, the side event attendees must use the form “Registration for Side Events, Associated Events, Exhibition, and Volunteers” and select the title of the side event they are attending. If registrants use the incorrect form, their registration may be rejected. Side event participants are also welcome to attend other side events and are highly encouraged to visit the exhibition spaces.

Upon arrival at the UNCC, participants must go to the registration counter on the ground floor. The badges will be ready for pick up starting on Friday, 21 February 2025 and throughout the Forum. For information on travel, please see the “Information Note” tab on the 12th APFSD Website.
