As part of ESCAP’s ongoing work to support member States in advancing inclusive and resilient care systems, ESCAP has been collaborating with the Government of Timor-Leste to strengthen national efforts to address unpaid care and domestic work and promote gender-responsive policy solutions. As a central component of this collaboration, ESCAP has developed a four-part Induction Module series designed to build a shared understanding of the care economy among key stakeholders. These Induction Modules aim to build a shared understanding of the care economy, introduce key concepts and policy tools, and strengthen participants’ capacity to design policies that contribute to building inclusive, resilient and sustainable care systems in Timor-Leste.
