The Sixth ASEAN RIPAP Focal Points Meeting focuses on advancing smart grid development in ASEAN, while also serving as a platform to showcase the region’s opportunities and strengthen engagement with international partners.
The first part of the meeting covers key updates, smart grid trends, and investor perspectives, combined with practical group exercises to identify stakeholders and shape ASEAN’s value proposition. The remaining days, participants will attend the European Biomass Conference & Exhibition, supporting ASEAN’s broader outreach efforts and global visibility.
This activity is implemented by ESCAP under the ASEAN Green Investment Catalyst (AGIC) programme. The AGIC programme focuses on supporting the implementation of the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan (RIPAP), by boosting institutional capacity and project offerings of investment promotion agencies regionally and nationally to attract investment in green transition sectors. The programme is funded by the UK Mission to ASEAN under the ASEAN-UK Green Transition Fund.
