The Closing Workshop was organized subsequent to the Second National Workshop on Demographic and Statistical Capacity Building, held from 25 to 28 October 2022.

The key purposes were to communicate the project’s progress with the national and international stakeholders involving in the CRVS and identity management systems in Lao PDR, to provide these stakeholders an opportunity to discuss further the recommendations from the ESCAP’s CRVS team to address existing challenges, and to jointly develop an agreed action plan to push forward the implementation of the inequality assessment.
