The workshop, which will run for 1-day, aims to provide staff from the National Statistics Office, Planning Office and Line
Ministries will enhance skills on the production of indicator frameworks for monitoring National and Sector Plans, as
well as introduce the National SDG Tracker as a tool for reporting progress against the SDGs. Specifically, it will provide
participants across the Government of Kiribati with a better understanding of:

• Role on indicators for plan monitoring
• Characteristics for defining good quality indicators
• Roles of Baselines and Targets
• Need for Metadata
• Overview of the National SDG Tracker
